Wood
My spoons are carved by hand from foraged local green wood with an axe and knives. Each piece is one of a kind.

Process
I start with green (freshly cut) wood, split it with wooden wedges, then carve each piece with a hatchet to a basic spoon shape.
From there, I go in with a series of knives both straight and curved.
I let the wood dry, then complete the spoon with some finish cuts and a couple coats of walnut oil.
